So I’ve been waiting for pictures before writing a post about this but who knows when I’ll see them so I’ll post them later. On June 29th my mom’s best friend, Shelia, hosted a fantastic shower in my honor at her house in Edmonds. It was a beautiful day and she did a wonderful job in creating a classy, fun get together for my mom’s friends and family members. No silly games to be had here- the day was full of sunshine, great advice, good food and ladies having a great time together. Trevor and I wound up with some great additions to our home, items from both on our registry and delighful surprises that weren’t, and more excitement for our upcoming big day.
I can’t thank Shelia enough for taking the time to host such a wonderful function, a bride to be really couldn’t ask for more.
This weekend it’s the young ladies turn, as my bridesmaid Nikki will be hosting a Lingerie Shower in my honor. Should be an awesome time and those pictures will indeed need posting- the theme is wear an old Bridesmaids dress or prom gown!
