Let’s start off this holiday post in chronological order – carving pumpkins. Before the images I have to go into how we got out pumpkins. I thought it would be fun to go to a pumpkin patch (also thought we’d save a few bucks). I was right on the fun and wrong on the savings. We paid a dollar a pound for these pumpkins. To put things into perspective, organic pumpkins of any size at Trader Joe’s were $3.50 – total.
Now onto the pumpkins – Mary carved the graveyard scene, while I carved a Jolly Roger skull into mine:

Onto our Halloween night. We headed down to Portland to go to our friend Cap’s Halloween party. We dressed up as Lindsey Lohan and Samantha Ronson (also drank like we were celebs…whoops). Took this picture when we left the party briefly for a little pinball break at the Clinton Street Pub and ran into Gonzo.

Back at the party, Cap had arranged for a corndog eating contest. Thought I would throw this pic up of Jenni (dressed as DJ AM) attempting to win (she didn’t).
