Could this be our 9th Bright Eyes show? Who knows...

Great show last night as always by Conor Oberst and company. Scored some great tickets on Ruelala.com for the show including sweet seats, free parking and some preconcert munchies. Saw that Cally and Eli did make it to the show and happily waved across the balcony. Trevor and I jetted out of there at the end since it was way past our bedtime but well worth it.

Now if he had only sung, “First Day Of My Life” it would have been perfect…

What an epic game! We were thrilled when Todd came through with tickets for this game and what a crazy day it was. Fantastic Vegetarian food options at the stadium, beautiful sunny day and fun celebrating the win with Josh too. Go Sounders!

Kat Von D Book Signing

Ok, so I know I am a sucker for celeb sightings and such so it was easy for me to head off to Barnes and Noble to go say hello to Kat Von D. While her popular show LA Ink is still going strong, she is on the road promoting her second, very successful book. Her new book “The Tattoo Chronicles“, just came out and I was happy to go get myself a copy to go meet her. It was quite the packed house at University Village which I was surprised about since I hadn’t heard more than anything on twitter about it. An hour and a half in line later we say our hellos, she compliments my outfit and we take a pic. Figured since Rooftop (Mike Escamilla) was there too, I might as well get a photo with him too. All in all a good book signing with plenty of good people watching.
